Our client Mr. Jinson Antony who is in abroad, wanted to modernize home and they wanted a design that reflected their minimalist taste and lifestyle while maximizing natural light and ventilation.
The Design:
Our team of experts at Retelva conducted a detailed site analysis and presented a design plan that addressed our clients’ specific requirements. We recommended a design that incorporated modern elements while preserving the minimal architecture, featuring clean lines, natural finishes, and ample natural light.
The entrance was designed to feature a height foyer with natural light flooding through the wooden jaalies. The main living area was opened up to create a seamless transition between the living, dining, and kitchen spaces, maximizing the natural light and ventilation. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and utility spaces were also reconfigured to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. The furniture and soft furnishings were carefully chosen to complement the design aesthetic while providing maximum comfort and functionality.
The Execution:
Our team of designers and carpenters worked together to oversee every aspect of the project, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion. While respecting the existing structure, we extended the home to create additional living spaces and increased the height of the sealing to add more natural light and ventilation.
The project was completed within the client’s set budget and timeline which was 43 days, and the final result was a stunning, modern home that beautifully blends traditional elements with contemporary design.
